With a background that spans graphic design, urban studies, and cultural research, I enjoy working on projects that challenge conventions and make a difference in the world. Whether it’s amplifying voices through creative campaigns, making complex ideas visually accessible, or designing for public engagement, I aim to bring a sense of imagination and purpose to every project.
My Experience
I've had the privilege of working with organizations and communities that focus on making a difference. My design journey has taken me from creating visual identities for grassroots political movements to designing community spaces that tell stories through urban experiences.Previously, I’ve worked at:
- Politics in Motion (New York City) as a Designer & Producer, blending urban storytelling with digital design.
- Chemistry and NextofKin, where I honed my skills in visual communication and design research.
- Pickupp in the APAC region, where I contributed to marketing and branding.
- And most recently, I’ve been working with a mix of clients from political nonprofits to cultural initiatives, as a freelance designer.
My academic journey includes an MS in Design & Urban Ecologies at The New School, where I explored urban horror and creative political action, thanks to a full scholarship from DesignSingapore Council. I’m also proud to have graduated as the valedictorian from LASALLE College of the Arts.
How I Work
I love digging deep into research and transforming insights into designs that resonate. I approach every project by understanding the needs of people and places—whether it’s a bustling city street or a grassroots community. My work is shaped by my curiosity for urban environments and a desire to connect people through design.Skills & Tools
I’m proficient in a wide range of tools that bring stories to life:- Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects
- Figma & Webflow: Bringing web designs to life with a focus on usability and aesthetics
- QGIS: For spatial analysis and adding a visual storytelling layer to urban projects
Let’s Connect
Right now, I'm especially excited about open design, community-led projects, and creative collaborations that address urban challenges. I love designing for causes that matter—whether it's creating visuals for social campaigns, envisioning new ways to activate public spaces, or working on branding that speaks to diverse communities. If you're looking for a designer who loves merging culture, urban life, and creativity—let’s talk. Have a project in mind, or just want to chat about cities, design, or the magic of homemade yogurt? Reach out—I’d love to hear from you.
